ABOUT THE HYPNOTIST
I am a Certified Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest and largest hypnosis organization in the world. In my own life, I use hypnosis daily for everything from the mundane like procrastination, exercising, and stress management, to the deep processes like grief, imposter syndrome, and scarcity mindset. Hypnosis has made profound changes in my life.
I’ve always been fascinated by how we learn and how the mind can work for or against us; I studied Music Education and started my career teaching one-on-one private music lessons to over 50 students for more than five years. Through teaching, I learned to adapt to a students’ needs in the moment, create custom plans for each person, and read cues that they were unable to communicate. This process stoked my interest in self-help and mental health, coinciding with my growing fascination with Dolores Cannon’s past life regression hypnosis and ultimately leading to my 100-hour training to become a Certified Hypnotist. Through my hypnosis, I channel the skills that I honed as a teacher to create customized sessions to meet my clients’ needs and goals.
I integrate various techniques from EFT Tapping(Emotional Freedom Technique), NLP(Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Parts Work and the skill I use every day: self-hypnosis into my sessions. An integral part of my training was experiencing hypnosis myself, so I understand firsthand how each of these techniques work and how they feel.
I have a strong passion and belief in the power of hypnosis. My goal is to teach you how to use your subconscious mind to work through the things holding you back from your goals and desires. I'm excited to give you the tools you can use to take your power back!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is hypnosis and how does it work?
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of heightened focus, suggestibility and relaxation. We naturally go in an out of states of hypnosis throughout the day as we fall asleep, wake up, become fully engaged in a good book, scrolling our phones, watching TV and even driving. Hypnosis works by giving us a tool to intentionally address our un-intentional problems through our subconscious mind rather than using only conscious willpower.
Does the hypnotist control me?
No! That is a Hollywood myth. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis and you are in total control and conscious during the session. You will be fully aware of what is happening and will not do or say anything out of character or against your will.
What can hypnosis be used for?
Hypnosis is used to help ordinary people with everyday ordinary problems. Common uses include: smoking/vaping cessation, fears like flying, heights, bridges, public speaking, stage fright, animals, going to the doctor/dentist - nail biting, hair pulling, setting and accomplishing goals, organization, procrastination, stress management, relaxation, pain management, sleep problems, test-taking anxiety, eating and exercise habits. There are also very interesting niches such as tattoo anesthesia, hypno-birthing and past life regression! I am personally not experienced in every one of these fields, but may be able to refer you to a hypnotist who specializes in what you are looking for.
Is hypnosis like a one time magic pill?
No. Most issues will require at least 3-5 sessions for best results and the amount of sessions will vary depending on each individual. In order to see results, you will also be required to practice daily self-hypnosis. Hypnosis is not just an easy, quick fix. It does take dedication and practice but the results can be extremely powerful and effective. I will not take on a client who is un-willing to do self-hypnosis(which I will teach you.)
What are your qualifications?
I am a Certified Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. I am NOT a medical or mental health professional and although hypnosis can be complimentary to mental/medical care, hypnosis is NOT a substitute. I may need a referral from your mental/medical health care provider to work with certain clients. I will not take on a client if I feel their issue is out of my area of expertise.
Can you help me?
Let's talk and find out! I will always be 100% honest with my clients with what I think I can help with. I am happy to refer you to a more experienced professional if I'm not sure I'm the right person to help.
What does a session look like?
Before our first session, we will have a consultation call so we can discuss your goals. During the first session, we will talk more in depth about what you would like to work on and what you hope to achieve through hypnosis. We will do some short exercises to prepare for the hypnosis session so you know what to expect before we begin. Then we will do the hypnosis session including our customized suggestions and goals and before we are done, I will teach you self-hypnosis( one of the most important tools you will use.)
Does hypnosis really work online?
Yes! I've been hypnotized and hypnotized others online dozens of times during my training. I can speak from personal experience, that it works wonderfully from the comfort of your own home without worrying about a stressful commute, parking and feeling uncomfortable in a new place. I will provide detailed instructions beforehand on how to get set up for our session.
What's up with the pricing?
I wanted to start by offering sliding scale pricing to my first 20 clients as a kick-off for my new business. If you shop around with other hypnotists in Philadelphia you will find that this is a ridiculously good deal! I wanted to make this limited-time pricing accessible to those who have always been interested in trying hypnosis. This price-point will not be continuing after I reach my first 20 clients.
Do you take insurance?
No. I know it may seem expensive, but hypnotherapy is not meant to be a long-term thing. Think of it as a short-term investment with potentially long-term benefits. You will be investing in yourself and in your future.
Do you really use a swinging pendulum?
Any other questions?
No. I just have it in my photo for fun :)
